The drawing pad, also known as the sketch pad, on the other hand, is a kind of notebook that is basically meant for artwork. They could be hardbound or paper bound, depending on the user's preference, and they are usually long and wide. The yellow pad is also a kind of writing pad that is yellow and meant to be torn off in sheets. The common dimensions of writing pads is five inches by 8 inches, as well as 8.25 inches by 11.75 inches.
